A Limited Edition Bourbon Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday
COMING MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!
Happy Birthday, America. Let’s have a drink together.
To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, Peg Leg Porker Spirits proudly introduces Spirit of America™ — a limited edition Tennessee Straight Bourbon Whiskey crafted to honor the people, grit, and stories that define this country.
This bottle isn’t about hype.
It’s about heritage.
It’s about the idea that the Spirit of America™ lives in everyday people — the builders, the cooks, the farmers, the veterans, the dreamers, and the entrepreneurs who take something small and turn it into something meaningful.
“America was built by people who weren’t afraid to work hard and dream big. If this bourbon can help bring people together to celebrate that, then we did something right.”
— Carey Bringle
THE STORY BEHIND THE BOTTLE
Peg Leg Porker Spirits founder, Carey Bringle, didn’t inherit a whiskey brand. He built one.
Born and raised in Nashville, Carey turned a passion for food and family into a nationally recognized brand built on hard work, resilience, and authenticity. At age 17, Bringle lost his leg to osteogenic sarcoma. Refusing to let the challenge define him, he went on to build a nationally recognized barbecue brand and one of the most distinctive bourbon portfolios in the country, becoming the world’s only award-winning pit-master with an award-winning bourbon brand.
Along the way he became known for something just as important as great bourbon and great barbecue: bringing people together.
“Some of the best moments in life happen around a table — good food, good friends, and a glass of bourbon. That’s what this bottle is really about.”
— Carey Bringle

BUILT THE RIGHT WAY
If Peg Leg Porker Spirits was going to release a bourbon to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, it had to be done the right way.
Spirit of America™ is a Bottled-in-Bond Tennessee Straight Bourbon Whiskey at 100 proof, one of the most respected classifications in American whiskey.
That means every bottle follows strict standards:
- One distiller
- One distilling season
- Aged at least four years
- Stored in a federally bonded warehouse
- Bottled at exactly 100 proof
In other words: No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just real American bourbon.

“I wanted this to be a bottle anyone would feel good bringing to the table — no matter who’s sitting there.”
— Carey Bringle
Because at the end of the day, the best way to celebrate this country is simple:
Let’s have a drink together.
